Meet Greta, aka the amazing Mrs. Leeby! Greta teaches kindergarten and is the creator of the blog “Learning with Mrs. Leeby.” She is one of three Turnaround Arts ECE coaches in Minnesota, implementing the arts into all core subject areas, and helping other teachers do the same. How cool is that? And in case that’s not enough, she is also the secretary of her union, advocating for educators, AND she is deeply committed to teaching children in poverty.
Recently Greta shared a post from her blog with us, describing her delight at using HUE Animation Studio in her classroom. She had been frustrated with the limitations of creating animations with iPads, and was thrilled with the capabilities HUE offers her. She stated: “As someone who has used stop motion in the classroom, and with such a young group of kids, I guarantee you that HUE is so much easier to understand and use, than any other product. I’m so grateful to have found this invaluable resource!”
Well, we are happy that Greta is happy because that usually means…that’s right–happy students! Check out the blog post and fantastic video on a math lesson; you’ll see how happy the students appear to be.
